M.J. Schulz & Associates, Inc. Announces Appointment of Corporate Principal to IFSTA Committee

Bartlett, Illinois, August 6, 2007 – M.J. Schulz & Associates, Inc., announced today that Michael J. Schulz has been selected by the International Fire Service Training Association (IFSTA) to serve on that organization’s working and validation committees to update and revise its training manual entitled, “Fire Investigator.”

The International Fire Service Training Association was established in 1934 as a “nonprofit educational association of fire fighting personnel who are dedicated to upgrading fire fighting techniques and safety through training.”  IFSTA manuals are now the official teaching texts of most of the states and provinces of North America.

The purpose and ultimate goal of IFSTA’s “Fire Investigator” training manual is “to promote the professional development of fire investigators who work in conjunction with fire departments around the world to reduce the loss of lives and property from fire.”

The committee’s work is expected to be completed in July of 2008, at which time its proposal will be reviewed and acted upon at the IFSTA Validation Conference in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

The corporate principal of M.J. Schulz & Associates, Inc., Michael J. Schulz, was also previously selected by IFSTA to serve on the organization’s working and validation committees to update and revise its related training manual entitled, “Fire Origin and Cause.”
